From its earliest days, the neighbors in Methodist Encampment communicated with each other by means of neighborhood newsletters. At first they were typed, reproduced, and distributed to the neighbors. When computers and the internet came along, newsletters and announcements were sent to residents by E-mail. And now this Website is providing a new way that people who live here can follow what’s going on in the neighborhood. This page is an archive of both vintage and recent Methodist Encampment newsletters.
Little House of Peace Free Library Newsletters
Following the unveiling of the Little House of Peace Free Library, the Library Steward put out occasional Little Free Library newsletters by E-mail to inform neighbors about library news and other neighborhood items of interest.
Methodist Encampment Bulletin Board
At a certain point the Little House of Peace Free Library Newsletter had more news to report about the neighborhood than about the Library, and so the Library Newsletter morphed into the Methodist Encampment Bulletin Board. Now the camp Bulletin Board is being replaced by this Website, which may include a residents portal in addition to its function as an archive.
